Rewarding hard work and acknowledging excellence

Congratulations to the 2012 Darke County Scholarship Winners – Nicole Frantz and Chelsey Broughman.  Both girls submitted very impressive applications and we are proud to support them in their dreams to go to college.  We wish them both the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Nicole Frantz is a graduate of Versailles High School.  She was a member of the Varsity Cross-country, Swim, and Track Team all four years.  She was the Class President and a member of the National Honor Society for 2011 and 2012.  She plans to attend Illinois Institute of Technology this Fall where she will study Biomedical Engineering.  Congratulations, Nicole!

Chelsey Broughman is a graduate of Bradford High School.  She was a member of the Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, Track, and Cheerleading Teams.  She served as Class President, she was on the Yearbook Committee, in Student Council, and in Peer Leadership.  Chelsey plans to study Interior Design at Bowling Green State University.  Congratulations, Chelsey!
