2012 Youth Wild Turkey Hunt

The Light Foundation is excited to offer our area youth a great hunting experience. Spring turkey hunts are always a challenge and there's nothing like a big Tom gobbling on the run! This year’s event will be an all weekend event, starting Friday night with dinner and continuing through Sunday midday; participants will stay here at Chenoweth Trials in our Yurts, so pack a bag, and get ready for a wild weekend adventure. We are looking forward to having you join us for a weekend of great friendships, good eating, the joy of the hunt and sharing stories of the one who didn’t get away

We look forward to evaluating the essay questions and selecting the winners for this year's hunt. I encourage each of you to work hard on the essay and submit the application on time. Don’t worry about being an experienced hunter; our guides will get you close. We will provide everything you need for the hunt, but it will be up to you to bag the bird.
